ABOUT SUMMERFEST
Fort Dodge Summerfest is a brand-new, can’t-miss event coming to Downtown Fort Dodge, Iowa on May 29th and 30th. This free, family-friendly festival will feature something for everyone, including a large vendor fair with 60+ vendors, a full carnival presented by Scott’s Amusement, and a live main stage showcasing talented local and regional artists from across the state.
Our Goal
Summerfest was created to bring the community together and create an event that everyone can enjoy, completely free of charge. By drawing people into downtown, we’re not just celebrating the start of summer, we’re celebrating Fort Dodge, its people, and its future.
We can’t wait to come together, have fun, and make this the start of something special for our community.
EVENT LOCATION
Fort Dodge Summerfest will take place throughout Downtown Fort Dodge, creating a vibrant, walkable festival experience across multiple blocks. The event will span the following areas:

The Fort Dodge Summerfest Vendor Fair, presented by Zeigler CAT, will bring together over 60 incredible vendors from across the region. From unique crafters and delicious food trucks to interactive experiences and home goods, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Best of all, the Vendor Fair is completely free to attend. So come explore, shop, and experience everything Summerfest has to offer!
The Fort Dodge Summerfest Carnival, presented by Scott’s Amusement, brings the excitement with over 15 rides, games, and attractions, perfect for the whole family. From thrilling rides to classic midway fun, there’s something for all ages to enjoy.
Save when you buy early! Discounted pre-sale tickets are available at the Crossroads Hotel & Event Center, the Brookstone Inn & Suites, and the Fort Dodge Pavilion Sports Complex.
MAIN STAGE
The Fort Dodge Summerfest Main Stage, presented by BeachLight Productions, is bringing an incredible lineup to kick off your summer. Enjoy live performances from Jessica Heaning, Stadium Drive, Lone Tree Revival, Kraiger, and more delivering great music all weekend long.
Best of all, the Main Stage is completely free to attend. Bring a lawn chair, grab some amazing food from our food trucks, and kick back with a cold drink from the beer tents. It’s the perfect way to relax, have fun, and celebrate the start of summer in Fort Dodge.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Start your day at Summerfest with a Free Pancake Breakfast, generously provided by Prairie Lakes Church! Join us at 9:00 AM for a delicious, family-friendly meal featuring fluffy pancakes, savory sausage, fresh fruit, juices, and more.
Whether you’re fueling up for a full day of fun or just stopping by to connect with friends and neighbors, this is the perfect way to kick off your morning at Fort Dodge Summerfest. Come hungry and enjoy great food, great company, and a great start to the day!
